Beautiful Feet
"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news...
who proclaim salvation" (Isaiah 52:7).

Right now Evangelist Tom Elie of Oasis World Ministries is in India meeting with 30 full-time national evangelists who travel to remote villages of India each week to share the "Good News." Some of these brave men have been beaten while holding outdoor festivals at unreached areas. Some have horrid stories of abuse. All of them have sacrifice greatly to reach others by proclaiming God's love, forgiveness, and eternal life through his son Jesus Christ.
National Evangelists Bala Raju told this story:
Miracles have occurred during every mini-festival. So many that I cannot describe them all because there is not enough time in the day to record them, but here's a life-changing testimony which I must share.
Mr. Reddy is a shop keeper who fell on hard financial times. He and his family were thinking about suicide. Around the same time, God spoke to me about Mr. Reddy and his family and revealed to me that they were in their home within hearing distance of the festival. God asked me to call Mr. Reddy by name and tell him that God has hope for him and his family. When Mr. Reddy heard his name from the loud speaker and the Good News about the saving grace of Jesus Christ, he and his family came out of their house.
Mr. Reddy came to the pulpit and asked how I knew about his personal problem. Convinced that only God could have done this, Mr. Reddy and his total family came to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Dear Lord,
What you call beautiful and what we call beautiful are often two different things. You said that the least esteemed among men are what you value in heaven. Today we pray for the 30 national evangelists who are bringing "Good News" into unreached and under-reached areas of India. We pray for Your divine protection from radicals. We pray Your financial provision for each of them. We pray for good health and protection for them and their families as they travel to new areas each week. We pray that You would help each evangelist reach an excess of 5,000 decisions for Christ in the coming year. Thank you for their dedication in knowing and proclaiming Your name! In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
