Death Threat to Pastors
Thanks for praying and fasting with us this Wednesday, December 8.
This last week radical Hindus have made a vow to kill 200 pastors within 24 hours in the state of Orissa, India. Two years ago as many as 1,000 Christians were killed in this state.
he radicals went through one town and kidnapped two pastors and three deacons.
Imagine if pastors in the state next to yours were being killed. What would be your response?
WE MUST PRAY. Today, will you lift up our India national evangelists and all the pastors and Christians in the state of Orissa. Pray for the radicals to find Christ, like Saul of Tarsus did!

Let’s pray for ourselves
Dear Lord,
We may never be called to die physically for You, but You HAVE called us to die to ourselves. You have told us to carry our cross if we want to follow You. We desire to die to our selfish and fleshly nature, so You can fill us with Your Spirit. Bring us to our own funeral, and help us to embrace death daily.
Let’s pray for our city and country
Dear Lord,
Please forgive our complacency, our apathy, our selfish Christianity and our pride. We humble ourselves before You on behalf of our city and country. Please forgive us, redeem us, restore us and revive us. Without You our country has no hope. Today we declare, “JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OVER OUR CITY AND OUR COUNTRY.”
Let’s pray for the global advance of the gospel
Dear Lord,
Please protect the pastors and Christians in Orissa, India. Comfort the families who are distressed over their missing family members. Confound the radical’s agenda of death and destruction. Draw the radicals to Your saving grace. And teach us how to pray for these dear brothers and sisters, we pray. In Jesus’ mighty name, amen.
